Their presence offers a compassionate and grounded space for you to explore silence, deepen your relationship with God, and feel supported along the way.
The Gift of Silence
Saturday will be held in silence, creating space to move beyond the noise of the mind and into the deeper awareness of God’s presence within. Whether you are new to silence or experienced in contemplative practice, this time offers a powerful opportunity for renewal, clarity, and peace.
A Place to Rest
Nestled in the beauty of Greeley, PA, our Retreat House provides a serene and welcoming environment—perfect for slowing down, breathing deeply, and reconnecting with what matters most.
All are welcome.
Come as you are. Leave refreshed, grounded, and renewed.
Screen-Free Invitation
Participants are invited to refrain from using phones, computers, tablets, and television during the retreat. This is not about restriction, but about creating space—space to notice, listen, and receive what God is already offering.
We understand that occasional check-ins may be necessary, and we encourage mindful, intentional use if needed.
Meet Your Leaders
Teresa Yerkes is the Founder of the Christian Meditation Center, has been a devoted Christian since 1983 and has practiced Christian meditation since 2000. She is the author of five books. Teresa teaches and leads Christian meditation training and sessions. She is a public speaker who facilitates book clubs and leads retreats.
She is married to her husband, Bill, and is a mother to three children and a grandmother to six grandchildren. She loves their two yellow labs, Lucy and Peaches, and their cat, Gracie. Her favorite pastime is spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys reading and taking walks with her husband and their dogs.

Leah Chrest is the author of At the Edge of the Jordan and It’s Okay to Be Okay. She is a Christian Meditation teacher, blogger, and podcast guest.
