Supporting your Christian meditation practice is a core component of our ministry. Having strong support is the key to creating a vibrant meditation practice. There are many benefits to meditating with a group and all of our sessions are done in the comfort of your own home. Our sessions help provide the motivation you need to take you from occasional meditation to lifestyle meditation.
Our sessions are designed for those who know how to meditate and would benefit from meditating with a trained facilitator. If you are interested in learning how to meditate, let us know by contacting us.
You will find a variety of different Christian meditation styles and durations are available. We encourage you to try them all!

Meet Our Facilitators
Teresa Yerkes is married and has three children and five grandchildren. She is an avid reader and loves spending time with family and friends. She has been a Christian since 1983 and has practiced Christian meditation since 2000 and has taught others since 2010. Teresa is the founder of the Christian Meditation Center.
Her approach is a simple one. She focuses our inward gaze towards our Center–the Kingdom of God, with our hearts full of love and adoration for our Lord. You will sit in silence and stillness, opening your heart, soul, and mind to God to do whatever is needed so you can be more like Him. You will focus on your breath when you find your attention has moved to your thoughts. Most people feel peaceful when the meditation is over.
Vicki Simek is married and has two adult children. She loves to cook, read, work with her dogs and spend time with family and friends. Vicki was a member of the CMC board from 2012 – 2016. She grew up Catholic and has found a richer experience in her relationship with Christ after being introduced to Christian meditation in 2005.
She works faithfully with A Course in Miracles. In addition to her work as a facilitator, Vicki posts daily lessons from the Course on Facebook and is part of a study group that meets weekly.
Vicki will initially guide you through the meditation with readings from the Course and then very gently, set you down in silence and peace to rest in God.
Monica Armstrong is a mom, spiritual director, and visual artist who loves creating images with paint that express the Divine Presence in all creation. She digs spending time in the garden or with her good dog and a good book. Her meditation practice began 30 years ago, then deepened from training with a teacher 12 years ago during cancer recovery.
She values the gift of meditation to enable the body, mind, and soul to open to the Presence of God in the moment. Meditation is a time to encounter the generosity of our Creator, the companionship of Christ Jesus, and the inspiration and Wisdom of the Holy Spirit. This practice brings many people renewed energy and restoration of their spirit.
Monica will open each session with a brief sacred reading or guided imagery as a threshold leading to silence and inner rest in the Presence of the Divine.
