John Henry Newman tells us, “Heart speaks to heart.” Such a wonderful invitation for us to deepen our prayer life by learning how to pray from our hearts.  Richard Foster begins this chapter by saying, “The prayer of the heart is the prayer of intimacy. It is the prayer of love and tenderness of a child to Father God. Like the mother hen, who gathers her chicks under her wings, we, through the prayer of the heart, allow God to gather us to himself–to hold us, to coddle us, to love us (Luke 13:34).”  Join us to learn more about the prayer of the heart on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 from 7 – 8 p.m.  The event is free and open to anyone.
