The chapter begins with a quote by P. T. Forsyth, “The true sacrament is holy personality.”  For me, his statement suggests whenever we witness God’s presence in our everyday experiences, we have encountered true sacrament. God who is Spirit, reveals Himself to us through the physical experience. He appeared to us through His Son who was born into this world and we experience His grace through the elements of bread and wine. These are popular acknowledgments of His Presence in this world and we all have experienced the supernatural in our lives. We marvel at the wonder of these grace-filled encounters.
