Join us for a restorative and transformative weekend of prayer, meditation, and fasting from January 16 -18, 2026, in a peaceful retreat setting in New Jersey. This is a sacred opportunity to step away from the noise of daily life and rest in God’s presence.
The Christian Meditation Center is launching a new prayer community called the Circle of Peace—a sacred space where we come together to lift one another in prayer, seek God’s presence through meditation, and share our faith journey. www.christianmeditationcenter.org/events/
Discover the richness of God-centered meditative prayer in our Fall Book Club as we explore Rich Lewis’s inspiring book, Sitting with God: A Journey to Your True Self Though Centering Prayer. Through personal experience and deep spiritual insight, Lewis invites us on a journey to a deeper connection with God—not just in prayer, but in every part of life.
Join us for a 7‑week Bible study on the Book of Ephesians—written by the Apostle Paul around A.D. 60–62—to explore what it means to live out the Christian faith both individually and as a unified body.
Join us this winter as we journey into the life and teachings of Julian of Norwich, a 14th-century Christian mystic whose timeless visions and theology continue to speak powerfully to the heart of our modern age. Through William Meninger's profound and accessible commentary, Julian of Norwich: A Mystic for Today, we’ll explore the depth of Julian’s visions of Divine Love, the Trinity, and the profound hope she offers in uncertain times.
What is Christian Meditation? In the quiet moments of Christian meditation, we find the other side of our conversation with God, often overlooked in the busyness of our prayers. Prayer, where we express gratitude and lay our requests before Him, is like a dialogue. Yet, in the hush that follows, we often forget to await His response. Unlike prayer, which involves talking and thinking, Christian meditation is about being still and attuning ourselves to God's voice, listening with openness to whatever He may share with us. It's a sacred pause, a moment to hear His gentle whispers. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him. -Psalm 37:7
