This is a sacred opportunity to step away from the noise of daily life and rest in God’s presence. \nA Time to Renew Your Spirit \n“So we fasted and petitioned our God about this\, and he answered our prayer.” — Ezra 8:23 \nThis scripture reminds us of the power of prayer and fasting to draw closer to God\, seek His guidance\, and invite His peace into our hearts. Together\, we will create a space for you to deepen your faith and nurture your soul. \nLed by Teresa Yerkes\, author\, retreat leader\, and founder of the Christian Meditation Center\, this retreat is designed to guide you into a meaningful experience of renewal and connection with God. \nRetreat Highlights \nFasting and Prayer:\nWe will begin a 36-hour fast on Friday at 8 p.m.\, concluding with a light breakfast on Sunday at 8 a.m. \n\nGuidance will be provided on how to begin and maintain the fast.\nWater and juices will be available throughout the retreat.\nA medical professional will be available for your safety and support.\n\nTime with God: \n\nTransformative Christian meditation and prayer sessions.\nReflection and intercession for peace in the world\, our communities\, and our hearts.\nSpace for fellowship with like-minded individuals seeking God’s presence.\n\nLight Nourishment:\nEnjoy refreshments before the fast begins on Friday and a nourishing breakfast to break the fast on Sunday morning. \nMeet Your Leaders \nTeresa Yerkes\, Spiritual Director\nTeresa will guide you into God’s presence through prayer\, scripture\, and Christian meditation.
